Job summary

Teoco is seeking a Revenue Assurance Analyst to analyze customer and telecommunications data to identify and quantify under-billing opportunities and billing discrepancies. You will validate issues by researching contracts, orders, provisioning, and invoices, and collaborate with client teams to correct billing through ordering and billing processes.

The role requires strong analytical skills, extensive telecom knowledge, and proficiency with Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify patterns and root causes.
• Ability to work with and analyze large, complex datasets from multiple sources.
• Extensive telecommunications knowledge, especially in ordering, provisioning, billing, contracts, and revenue processes.
• Ability to interpret telecommunications contracts, service orders, invoices, and billing records.
• High attention to detail and ability to detect discrepancies across systems.
• Proficiency with Excel for data analysis, reconciliation, filtering, formulas, and reporting.
• Working knowledge of Access to query and analyze data.
• Proficiency with Word and Outlook.
• Ability to learn and navigate client portals, billing systems, ordering systems, and internal tracking/reporting tools.
• Ability to translate technical and analytical findings into actionable business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Perform Revenue Assurance audits to identify billing inaccuracies and under-billing opportunities.
• Analyze and reconcile data sources including revenue, billing, provisioning, ordering, invoice, and contract data.
• Apply analytical techniques to identify potential billing discrepancies.
• Determine whether discrepancies represent revenue leakage or under-billing.
• Validate issues by researching contracts, orders, provisioning, invoices, and billing rules.
• Collaborate with client teams to correct inaccurate billing through ordering and billing processes.
• Track opportunities, corrections, and financial results via client portals and dashboards.
• Monitor the status of opportunities and ensure corrections are reflected in billing.
• Prepare analytical reports and findings for internal and client requests.
• Meet targets for performance, productivity, and revenue recovery; report progress.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and business stakeholders, including root cause and impact.
