Astound in New York is seeking a Retail Sales Representative to engage customers, demonstrate products, and upsell packages. You will explain pricing, promotions, and services to inbound shoppers at the retail center.

You will build rapport, identify customer needs, balance cash, process payments, and maintain accurate paperwork while ensuring a positive customer experience. Strong communication and adaptability are essential.

Qualifications

• Phone customer support in a call center preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to customers.
• Bilingual skills preferred.
• Friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing demeanor.
• Demonstrates knowledge of cable and data products/services.
• Ability to learn and retain new information quickly.
• Demonstrates problem-solving and proactive decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Sell target products and packages and explain system prices, channels, services and promotions to customers.
• Demonstrate Astound's products and services to inbound customer traffic at the retail center.
• Communicate current promotions and offers to potential customers.
• Establish rapport and match each visitor with the best-fitting package.
• Review services and upsell new services as appropriate.
• Process payments, balance cash drawer daily, and maintain accurate paperwork.
