Job summary

Pape-Dawson Engineers is seeking a Project Manager 1 – Telecom to plan, coordinate, and manage fiber telecom projects nationwide, including OSP, GIS, surveying and civil teams. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality, maintain documentation, and support business development through client relationships and proposals.

A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required; 6+ years in telecom/civil design and 1+ year in project management;

Qualifications

• 6+ years of civil and/or telecom design experience, preferably with fiber-optic infrastructure.
• 1+ year of project management experience; telecom experience preferred.
• Experience with fiber design, OSP construction drawings, splicing plans, mapping, surveying, and utility design in public rights-of-way.
• Understanding of project budgets, financials, scheduling, and resource management.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects and priorities.
• P.E. license or PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage telecommunications projects while building strong client relationships.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Maintain project documentation, schedules, permits, and design records.
• Identify project risks and develop solutions to ensure successful delivery.
• Support business development through client relationships, proposals, project estimates, and pursuits.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to project team members.
