Job summary

Ansco & Associates, LLC is seeking an Operator Telecom Pole Anchors to install pole anchors and related structures for telecom projects. You will operate anchor trucks and hydraulic gear, following engineering specs and safety procedures on diverse job sites.

The role requires a CDL, the ability to read blueprints or staking sheets, and a basic understanding of soil types that affect anchor depth. You will travel to sites, participate in safety training, and support crew with material

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or relevant work experience.
• Valid CDL with acceptable record.
• Experience operating telecom or utility equipment preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints or staking sheets (telecom experience preferred).
• Basic knowledge of soil types affecting anchor depth and installation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate anchor trucks, digger derricks, or hydraulic equipment.
• Install pole anchors and guy wires based on engineering specs.
• Assist with load setup and site prep.
• Ensure equipment is operated safely and within regulations.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Support crews with material handling and safety spotting.
• Communicate with team to align on anchor placement.
• Report site conditions or hazards to supervisor.
• Travel to various job sites as needed.
• Participate in safety and equipment training programs.
