Job summary

Ervin Cable Construction, LLC is seeking a Technician Engineering Plant to design and manage outside plant work orders and drawings under supervision. You will coordinate with drafting and GIS teams and plan new cable routes.

Requirements include two years of telecom OSP engineering experience and proficiency with Excel and Word. This is an on-site position with strong opportunities for growth within a connected network company.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with work authorization in the United States.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience needed.
• At least two years of Telecom Outside Plant Engineering experience required.
• Proficient with Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare outside plant work orders and drawings with documentation updates.
• Provide estimates for work order expenditures and prepare placement and joint use memos.
• Coordinate with drafting and GIS personnel in remote offices to produce construction drawings.
• Plan, design, and obtain permits for new cable routes.
• Design aerial and underground telecommunications plant routes.
• Other duties as assigned.
