Job summary

Ervin Cable Construction, LLC is seeking a Technician Engineering Plant to design and manage outside plant work orders and drawings under general supervision. You will coordinate with drafting and GIS teams and plan/permit new cable routes, both aerial and underground, to support a robust network.

The role requires at least two years of telecom OSP engineering, proficiency with Excel/Word, and authorization to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Two years of Telecom Outside Plant Engineering experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma or GED or relevant work experience.
• Proficient with Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare outside plant work orders and drawings with documentation and records.
• Provide estimates for work order expenditures and prepare placement/memos.
• Coordinate with drafting and GIS personnel in remote offices to produce construction drawings.
• Plan, design, and obtain permits for new cable routes.
• Design aerial and underground telecommunications plant routes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
