Job summary

Ervin Cable Construction LLC in Missouri seeks a Technician Engineering Plant to design and manage outside plant work orders and drawings under supervision, coordinating with drafting and GIS teams, and planning new cable routes.

You will design aerial and underground routes, provide cost estimates for work orders, and obtain permits. Must have telecom OSP experience, be 18+, and proficient with Excel and Word.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma or GED, or relevant work experience.
• At least two years of Telecom Outside Plant Engineering experience.
• Proficient with Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare outside plant work orders and drawings, with documentation and record updates.
• Provide estimates for work order expenditures and prepare placements and joint use memos.
• Coordinate with drafting and GIS personnel in remote offices to produce construction drawings.
• Plan, design, and obtain permits for new cable routes.
• Design aerial and underground telecommunications plant routes.
• Other duties as assigned.
