RJE Telecom is seeking an OSP Engineering Field Tech for the NJ market. You will design and manage outside plant work orders and drawings, coordinate with drafting and GIS teams, and plan permits for new cable routes. The role requires site visits within specified New Jersey areas and belongs to a hybrid work setup.

You will perform design and routing tasks, collaborate across offices, and ensure accurate data for network design. Prior Verizon OSP and telecom design experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Verizon OSP Engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare outside plant work orders and drawings.
• Provide estimates for work orders and joint-use memos.
• Coordinate with drafting and GIS personnel to produce construction drawings.
• Plan, design, and obtain permits for new cable routes.
• Design aerial and underground telecom plant routes.
• Other duties as assigned.
