Stormont Vail Health is seeking a Telecommunications Operator for the second shift (evenings) in the United States. The operator handles incoming and outgoing calls, monitors alarms, and uses multiple software systems to notify medical center staff.

A professional demeanor is essential as you support patients, staff, and other customers. You will document actions, activation of emergency tones, and on-call communications while maintaining logs.

The operator will monitor alarms, take appropriate actions and make emergency overhead announcements when necessary. The operator will use multiple software systems to initiates text messaging to medical center staff. The operator reports system difficulties to the proper authority. The Operator must provide detailed documentation of process completion that may be referenced at a later date. Special emphasis is placed upon presenting and exhibiting a professional, pleasant and positive demeanor when dealing with patients, employees, and all other customers of the organization.Experience Qualifications3 months of related experience.
