Job summary

Wyandot, Inc. is seeking an experienced Telecom Technician to join our Information Technology Team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, and support of cable infrastructure, routers and switches, and business phone systems.

You will work with network administrators, document configurations, support on-call rotations, and travel between sites as required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant telecom or network technician experience.
• Certifications preferred: CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain structured cabling systems including Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber.
• Configure and maintain enterprise routers and switches.
• Configure and support VoIP and Cisco phone systems.
• Document network cabling and system configurations.
• Assist with network expansion and migrations.
• Provide on-call help desk support and troubleshooting.
• Maintain print devices and related consumables.
