Job summary

Verizon is hiring for a field telecommunications installer in Memphis. You will install, monitor, test, and maintain telecommunications and related equipment in facilities and on customer sites, ensuring network integrity and high-quality service.

You will work with high-speed transport gear (ROADM, Ciena, Fujitsu) and Cisco ethernet systems, perform fiber splicing and fault isolation, and coordinate turn-up with internal and external teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience demonstrated through work or military service.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 25%.
• Ability to perform physical requirements and work on-call, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Install, monitor, test and maintain telecom equipment in facilities and on customer sites.
• Keep fiber network integrity for best-in-class customer experience.
• Handle fiber splicing, fault isolation, and coordination with internal/external teams.
