Job summary
Congruex in Irving, TX is seeking an Engineer I, II, or III to design and draft cost-effective OSP/ISP telecom work prints, meeting client deadlines.
You will develop designs for construction, placement, splicing, installation, and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure, collaborating with internal teams and clients.
Candidates should have a STEM degree, knowledge of fiber networks, and hands-on experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS, and project management tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline preferred.
- Construction and field experience preferred.
- Knowledge of fiber networking and broadband designs.
- Experience with OSP telecommunications design.
Responsibilities
- Design cost-effective engineered designs for telecom construction and maintenance.
- Identify fiber/copper paths and attach to poles or place underground.
- Engineer in rights-of-way while avoiding conflicts with existing facilities.
- Prepare and maintain project files and tracking systems.
- Ensure on-time delivery and quality standards.
