Job summary

Congruex seeks a Lineman in Charleston, SC to build, repair, and maintain aerial and underground telecom infrastructure. You will read orders and drawings, operate lifts and hydraulic tools, and support daily field operations to ensure safety and quality.

Requirements include a valid driver's license, CDL, and DOT medical card. Expect nights, weekends, and on-call work with 10-15% travel; competitive benefits accompany the role.

• Valid Driver's License required.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
• DOT Medical Card required.

Responsibilities

• Construct, repair, and maintain aerial and underground telecommunications infrastructure, including cable, strand, poles, anchors, and associated hardware.
• Read and interpret work orders, engineering drawings, specifications, and construction prints to complete assigned work accurately.
• Operate construction equipment including aerial lifts, hydraulic equipment, compressors, pumps, and related tools.
• Complete emergency restoration, maintenance, outage response, and system rebuild activities while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Complete daily production reports, As-Built documentation, and maintain accurate project records.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and all applicable customer and regulatory standards.
• Additional responsibilities within functional scope based on business needs.
