Job summary

Quanta Services, Inc. is seeking Telecom Linemen in Charleston, West Virginia, to join our telecommunications infrastructure teams. Candidates will engage in hands-on installation of aerial fiber and copper cables, ensuring compliance with safety standards and productivity expectations.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience and be able to work outdoors under varying conditions. Benefits include 401(k) matching and comprehensive health packages.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in telecom construction or lineman work.
• Current DOT medical card or ability to pass DOT physical.
• Familiarity with state/local clearance and right-of-way code preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install aerial telecommunications infrastructure including fiber optic and coaxial cable.
• Perform lashing and over-lashing of fiber and copper cable.
• Conduct daily vehicle, trailer, and equipment inspections.

Skills

Telecom construction experience

Knowledge of safety standards

Ability to lift 50+ lbs

Valid Class A CDL

Basic knowledge of electricity and cabling

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
