Job summary

Impellam Group is seeking an experienced Telecommunications Project Manager to oversee and coordinate infrastructure projects spanning generation, transmission, telecom, solar, and enterprise IT work. The role focuses on smaller-scope initiatives with strong controls, communication, and stakeholder coordination.

The position requires managing a large number of active projects, working with internal telecom teams, field resources, product owners, and business customers to ensure work is planned

Qualifications

• Substantial project management experience, preferably supporting infrastructure, utility, telecom, construction, facilities, generation, transmission, solar, or renewable energy projects.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple competing priorities.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a high volume of concurrent projects.
• Proficiency in managing and reporting project budgets for assigned work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide clear status updates to stakeholders and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage approximately sixty active projects simultaneously, ensuring work progresses efficiently and deadlines are met.
• Coordinate project scope, schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, action items, and follow-up activities.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of project communications, decisions, updates, and actions in JIRA.
• Collaborate with internal telecom, engineering, field, and implementation teams to schedule and execute work within business timelines.
• Provide concise weekly stakeholder updates that summarize current status, upcoming work, risks, dependencies, and expected activity over the next two to four weeks.
