Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to support project management, bridging field and office, developing submittals, RFIs, and change orders, and validating telecom design during data center construction. You will manage drawings, redlines, and project records to keep the team aligned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years in the construction industry in a similar role.
• OSHA-30 certification (required within 6 months of hire)
• BICSI TECH certification

Responsibilities

• Support project management by preparing submittal packages and RFIs.
• Coordinate with field and office to keep drawings and records up to date.
• Lead field validation of telecom design and resolve conflicts via RFIs.
• Provide real-time progress dashboards and daily/weekly reporting.
• Mentor field staff and ensure safety and QA/QC adherence.
