Job summary

Bluegrass Stream LLC is seeking an Outside/Inside Plant Project Lead within the Communications Engineering Group to oversee telecommunications infrastructure projects, including fiber and copper data systems, wireless networks, and structured cabling.

The role requires coordinating with customers, vendors, and project managers to plan deliverables, migrate legacy facilities, and provide technical leadership to field technicians, designers, and contractors across complex telecom environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in electronics, engineering, or related field.
• Extensive telecommunications experience including OSP/ISP, fiber, and enterprise networking.
• Proven leadership directing technicians and contractors in telecom settings.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute telecom deliverables aligned to strategic objectives.
• Manage external vendors and stakeholder relationships.
• Lead migration from legacy facilities to modern systems.
• Provide technical leadership to field teams, designers, and contractors.
• Coordinate with customers and project managers, track progress and status.
• Analyze and resolve technical/operational issues with engineering judgment.
