Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Registered Communications Distribution Designer certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with office software and industry design tools.

Responsibilities

• Plans and designs structured cabling systems, fiber-optic infrastructure, and telecommunications rooms.
• Prepares technical specifications, design narratives, budgets, and scopes for telecom projects.
• Reviews documents to identify telecom infrastructure requirements and deviations.
• Coordinates planning and design activities with architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and IT staff.
• Performs field surveys, assessments, inspections, and project acceptance reviews.
• Provides technical support through planning, construction, commissioning, and closeout phases.
• Supports redundancy, resiliency, and capacity planning for enterprise facilities.
