Job summary

The University of Miami is seeking a Telecommunications Infrastructure Designer I to plan, design, document, and coordinate structured cabling systems, fiber-optic infrastructure, telecommunications rooms, and related communications infrastructure across its enterprise.

The role collaborates with IT, Facilities Operations, Planning and Construction, architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure standards, codes, and best practices are met.

• Coordinates planning with architects, engineers, vendors, and IT teams.
• Conducts field surveys, inspections, and project acceptance reviews.
