Job summary

Pearce Services is seeking a skilled Generator Technician to service and repair commercial generators on cell towers across the region. Travel and independent work in a fast-paced environment are expected.

Role involves diagnosing problems, installing components, following safety protocols, and responding to alarms, including 24/7 on-call when required. Requires hands-on generator maintenance experience and familiarity with related software/hardware.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of generator maintenance experience preferred, plus at least one year in generator/electrical maintenance-related software, hardware and processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain generators, diagnose and repair issues, install/replace components or whole systems.
• Perform performance checks and regular maintenance per blueprints/design specs.
• Install fuel/water lines, pumps, electrical wiring and controls; test for proper operation.
• Respond promptly to Power/Generator alarms; be on call 24/7 when needed.
• Adhere to safety practices and attend designated safety trainings.
