Job summary

Pearce Services is seeking a Generator Technician to service and repair commercial generators on cell towers across the region. The role suits independent, self-starting professionals willing to travel, with a focus on uptime and safety.

Candidates should have relevant generator maintenance experience and be capable of wiring, installing and faultfinding electrical systems while adhering to FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations. On-call duties and travel are required.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of generator maintenance experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of generator installations, maintenance and repair of electronic/electrical components.
• Basic knowledge of FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, repair generators and related systems; install or upgrade components as needed.
• Perform regular maintenance, checks and read blueprints or design specs for installation or repair.
• Install fuel/water lines, pumps, electrical wiring and controls; test for proper operation.
• Respond promptly to generator alarms; be on call 24/7 if needed and respond to assigned communications.
• Adhere to safety practices and participate in safety trainings.
