Job summary

Davey Resource Group, Inc. seeks a Telecom Foreman to supervise overhead telecom systems maintenance and pole removals. You will lead a small crew, travel across the Northeast Ohio, Indiana, and Western Pennsylvania region, and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.

The role requires hands-on equipment operation, strong safety practices, and the ability to train others in equipment use and field procedures. Travel and lodging are provided.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of aerial lineman, telecommunication, and pole climbing experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid CDL A and a DOT medical card.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• OSHA certification is a plus, but not required; online OSHA and safety certifications may be completed.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a derrick digger and aerial lift truck with trailer.
• Work with aerial crew or assist as a laborer when not operating equipment.
• Train others on equipment operation.
• Locate and troubleshoot telecom cables and wires.
• Operate bucket trucks, hand and power tools, ladders, meters, and test equipment.
• Ensure safety and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Travel over 75% as needed; work at heights and in varied conditions.
• Complete paperwork, timesheets, and logs; support team objectives.
