Job summary

Dominion Energy is seeking an Intermediate Telecommunications Technician II to install, maintain, and repair telecommunications equipment across fiber optics, wireless systems, and network infrastructure. The role requires independent work on projects and strong diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electronics background/experience required.
• Related military experience is a plus.
• High School/GED, relevant military experience accepted in lieu of preferred education.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain telecommunications equipment such as routers, switches, and fiber optic cables.
• Diagnose and resolve issues to minimize downtime and ensure performance.
• Conduct tests and document findings and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and stakeholders on projects.
• Ensure work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
