Job summary

ByVerTek is seeking a Telecom Field Supervisor based in Mesa, AZ to oversee fiber optic construction, ensuring safety, quality, and on-schedule delivery. You will lead field crews and subcontractors while supporting project execution from planning through closeout.

The role emphasizes strong communication, field leadership, and adherence to company standards. Occasional travel to job sites and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of telecom or OSP FTTH construction experience with field leadership responsibilities.
• Working knowledge of telecom construction practices and safety standards.
• Proficiency with computers, tablets, and digital reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily telecom construction activities for aerial, underground and/or splicing crews.
• Monitor work progress and adjust field activities to maintain project schedules.
• Ensure crews have appropriate materials, equipment, and resources to perform assigned work.
• Represent the company during site walks, pre-construction meetings, inspections, and project closeout activities.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement among field teams.
