Job summary

TDS Telecom seeks a Field Service Technician to assist with on-site installations, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of telecommunications products and equipment. This role includes proactive customer service and opportunities to sell TDS services and products.

Field duties involve various services such as Telephony, Internet, Video/CATV, and network facilities. Candidates must reside within 60 minutes of the Waunakee, WI warehouse and be willing to be on-call with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Willingness to travel and be on-call; overtime as needed.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, test, splice, repair, and maintain telecom equipment onsite.
• Provide troubleshooting support and respond to dispatches.
• Educate customers and promote TDS products and services.
• Learn grounding and safety practices for outside plant facilities.
