Job summary

BHC is hiring a Project Engineer to independently design and produce drawings for Utilities projects, focused on telecom fiber networks. You will validate schematics, coordinate with design, site, and client teams, and ensure on-time, accurate deliverables with minimal supervision.

The role requires a PE license (or eligibility), a strong CAD proficiency, and a track record of leading large-scale design efforts in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• 6+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred or required where applicable.
• Telecommunications industry experience strongly preferred.
• Proficient in three-dimensional CAD and able to lead complex design efforts.

Responsibilities

• Defines customer requirements and ensures system conformance to specifications.
• Coordinates interfaces internally, with customers and partners.
• Acts as technical point of contact for clients and external partners.
• Prepares proposal estimates of time and expenses to complete projects.

The Project Engineer is responsible for independently performing the design and drawing production aspect of engineering projects in the Utilities group.
