Job summary

SQUAN in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an experienced construction manager with a telecom fiber background to lead telecommunications infrastructure projects and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will supervise field teams, manage budgets, coordinate with cross-functional groups, and mentor staff. Travel to sites and regular client coordination are required to deliver reliable fiber networks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience as a construction manager or project manager within the telecom field.
• Background in fiber construction (aerial, splicing, underground).
• Experience with as builds.
• Ability to lead field teams.
• Proficient communication and leadership skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of telecom infrastructure construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project coordination.
• Manage project budgets, cost estimates, and resource allocation to achieve cost-effective project outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.
• Conduct quality assurance inspections during and after completion of work to meet customer requirements.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and address deviations.
• Coach, mentor, and provide guidance to team members.
