Join a Telecom Expense Management team responsible for optimizing telecommunications, wireless, voice, data, and IT-related expenses. The Telecom Expense Management Financial Analyst will perform financial and data analysis, identify cost-saving opportunities, improve processes, and provide actionable reporting to leadership.
Analyze telecom expenses, carrier invoices, vendor payments, usage, and large datasets to identify discrepancies, overcharges, and cost-saving opportunities.
Establish and optimize processes for wireless, voice, data, mobile, and landline expense management.
Generate ServiceNow reports and validate asset records against wireless carrier databases.
Analyze approximately 30,000 mobile device records, including usage, zero-usage reports, billing, and asset discrepancies.
Prepare budget forecasts, track planned versus actual expenses, and investigate budget variances.
Analyze vendor expenses against contract funding and support procurement forecasting, contract modifications, and vendor payments.
Develop reports, presentations, and Power BI dashboards and communicate findings to leadership.
Support process automation, data integrity, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong financial analysis, invoice analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and large-data reporting skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including spreadsheets, pivot tables, and large datasets.
Experience with Telecom Expense Management, including wireless/wired usage, carrier billing, and expense auditing.
Experience with ServiceNow reporting/dashboards and PeopleSoft.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, quantitative, and data interpretation skills.
Ability to identify trends, recommend cost-saving opportunities, and accurately manage high-volume work.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline preferred.
Experience with Power BI, databases, PowerPoint, AI tools, and financial software applications.
Project-based financial management, budgeting/forecasting, or auditing experience is a plus.
Knowledge of process automation and business requirements gathering.
