Job summary

IES Communications, LLC is seeking a Telecom Designer to join its national Design Branch. The role focuses on designing low voltage telecommunications infrastructure, providing consulting and design services for technology-enabled spaces, and managing multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency.

You will lead design tasks, meet with clients and architects, develop construction drawings with CAD/BIM tools, review submittals, and ensure quality and safety standards while coordinating with

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit strongly preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project).
Experience with low-voltage design and client interface.

Responsibilities

Contribute as a key member of the project design team with telecom systems expertise.
Lead projects, perform complete technology systems design according to code.
Meet with clients and architects to assess needs and requirements.
Develop construction drawings and system drawings with CAD/BIM tools.
Review submittals and coordinate with architects, contractors and engineers.
Develop space layouts and vendor selections; ensure design quality and safety.
