Job summary

RANGE is seeking a Data Services Technician in Broadus, MT to install and maintain telecommunications services, cabling, CPE, and field equipment under the Plant Supervisor. You will troubleshoot, repair, and document installations and updates for company records.

The role requires on-call availability, occasional travel, and ability to work with IT services, testing equipment, and safety procedures. Experience in networking concepts and reading schematics is valued.

Qualifications

• High-School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in telecommunications data services.

Responsibilities

• Install and transfer services: voice, data, circuits, Ethernet, and other non-regulated services Range offers.
• Cabling: install, repair and maintain copper or fiber cables; terminate to industry standards.
• Repair and maintain plant equipment; read and interpret cable schematics; ensure network stability.
