Job summary

ITG Communications, LLC is seeking a hands-on supervisor to lead a telecom cable construction team in aerial or underground projects. You will ensure safe, on-time delivery while maintaining quality benchmarks and budget adherence.

The role requires 3–5 years of telecom construction experience, prior supervisory exposure, and a strong safety record. You will coordinate with departments and mentor technicians to uphold ITG’s standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in telecom cable construction (aerial or underground)
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Proven track record of safety and quality delivery
• Familiarity with construction management software/tools

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise daily activities of a team of technicians or workers in telecom cable construction projects to meet timelines, quality and cost.
• Enforce safety regulations, certifications, and company policies to ensure safety and compliance.
• Assign tasks and schedules to team members, ensuring proper resource allocation and equipment availability.
• Monitor progress and quality, ensuring adherence to timelines and standards.
• Provide training and guidance to team members including linemen and drillers.
• Address and resolve operational issues, including on-site customer interactions.
• Maintain records and prepare reports for management review.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks to reinforce safety practices.
