Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Communications Superintendent to manage field construction activities, safety, schedule, and client satisfaction on complex projects in Virginia. You will oversee crews, coordinate with engineering, and maintain detailed project records ensuring on-time delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, robust planning, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and clients. Occasional nights/weekends and up to 25% travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or 5+ years installation experience in IT/Telecom fields.
• Or a high school diploma with 10+ years installation experience in IT/Telecom fields.
• Experience on telecom and electronic security projects ranging from $50,000 to $5M.
• Proficient with MS Office, CPM Scheduling, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple subcontractors and crews.
• Prepare daily to monthly reports.
• Coordinate construction work with contractual requirements and owner needs.
• Forecast look-ahead schedules and outages.
• Ensure safety, quality, schedule, and client satisfaction.
• Hands-on problem solving in the field.
