Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Telecommunications Foreman for Chantilly, VA, with 75% travel.

You will lead the installation of communications cabling and equipment, ensuring compliance with plans, specs, codes, and industry standards. You will work on OSP/ISP copper, CCTV, DAS, fiber optics, and structured cabling, develop leadership in field teams, and aim to become a qualified BICSI technician while supporting healthcare, government, and mission-critical projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 8+ years telecom experience in OSP/ISP copper, CCTV, DAS, fiber & structured cabling.
• BICSI Installer 1 copper certification required; fiber certs preferred.
• Experience with federal, healthcare, and government facilities a plus.
• Ability to pass a basic telecom knowledge test.

Responsibilities

• Install telecom cabling and equipment per plans, specs, codes.
• Read plans and install OSP/ISP copper, CCTV, DAS, fiber & structured cabling.
• Lead field teams to ensure safety and quality on site.
• Travel up to 75% to multiple job sites.
