Job summary

TAK Broadband is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead telecom construction efforts in Wisconsin (Manitowoc, Fond du Lac, Williams Bay) and travel to nationwide projects when required. You will oversee daily construction activities, supervise crews and subcontractors, and coordinate with permitting, engineering and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery and safety.

You must have 5+ years in telecom construction, strong leadership, and hands-on ability with coax/fiber splicing,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of telecom construction experience including supervisory/leadership responsibilities.
• Knowledge of coax and fiber splicing, directional drilling, map reading.
• Experience with aerial and underground construction.
• Practical knowledge of network operations and inventory (RF and fiber).
• Experience in estimating and bidding projects; change-orders.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily construction activities across multiple projects.
• Supervise crews and subcontractors to ensure quality, safety, and schedule.
• Travel regionally to project sites as needed (±90% annually).
• Conduct site walks, pre-construction meetings, safety audits and closeouts.
• Coordinate with permitting, engineering, real estate and logistics teams to keep projects on track.
• Track milestones using company tools; coordinate material deliveries and equipment staging.
• Support director of construction with budgets and schedules.
• Serve as field escalation point for issues and resolutions.
• Communicate project status and risks to leadership and clients.
• Ensure work follows safety protocols and regulations.
