Job summary

TAK Broadband is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead telecom construction across regional WI projects and travel nationwide as needed. The role focuses on field leadership, safety compliance, and project coordination to meet schedules and budgets.

The candidate will supervise crews, liaise with permitting teams, and ensure quality workmanship across coax and fiber installations while maintaining strong safety practices and customer communications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of total telecommunications construction experience including supervision
• Experience in coax/fiber splicing and directional drilling
• Knowledge of aerial and underground construction and project bidding

Responsibilities

• Manage daily construction activities across multiple projects
• Supervise crews and subcontractors for quality, safety, and schedule
• Travel 75–90% annually to sites across regional footprint
• Conduct site walks, safety audits, and closeout inspections
• Coordinate permitting, engineering, and logistics to keep projects on track
• Manage budgets and timelines with Director of Construction
• Escalate field issues and formulate resolution strategies
• Communicate status and risks clearly to leadership and clients
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and state regulations
• Close out punch lists and documentation
