Job summary

TAK Broadband, LLC is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead telecom construction projects in Wisconsin (Manitowoc area) with travel to other TAK networks across the U.S. You will oversee daily activities, supervise crews, and coordinate with permitting, engineering, and logistics teams to ensure timeliness and quality.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in telecom construction, strong knowledge of coax/fiber splicing, and proven budgeting and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in telecom construction with leadership experience.
• Knowledge of coax and fiber splicing, aerial and underground work.
• Familiarity with RF and fiber network operations.
• Experience estimating, bidding projects, and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily construction activities across multiple projects.
• Supervise crews and subcontractors for quality, safety, and schedule.
• Travel regionally to project sites as needed (75%–90% annually).
• Conduct site walks, pre-construction meetings, safety audits, and closeout inspections.
• Coordinate permitting, engineering, real estate, and logistics teams to stay on track.
• Track milestones using company tools and manage material deliveries.
• Support budgeting and scheduling with the Director of Construction.
• Act as field escalation point for issues and resolutions.
• Communicate project status and risks clearly to leadership and clients.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and state regulations.
• Document punch lists, redlines, and closeout packages.
