MasTec Communications Group is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to support telecom construction projects across our service areas. You will operate heavy machinery on job sites, perform routine maintenance, and work with a safety-minded crew to deliver high-quality service.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, teamwork, and a commitment to long-term projects. A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a DOT medical card are preferred; CDL may be requested.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate light construction equipment, including backhoes, cable plows, trenchers, hydraulic reel trailers, and maintain them as required.
• Troubleshoot field problems as they arise.
• Read and understand utility locates and above-ground indicators to ensure safety and productivity.
