Job summary

Verita Telecommunications (VTC) is seeking a Construction Supervisor to oversee daily field operations on telecom projects. You will coordinate crews, ensure safety standards, and drive productivity in a fast-paced environment, serving as the link between field teams and Operations Management.

The role requires hands-on leadership, planning, and clear communication to uphold Verita’s safety and quality standards while delivering projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of telecommunications construction methods (aerial and underground).
• Experience supervising field crews and coordinating subcontractors.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and on-time project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct field crews including operators, linemen, laborers, locators, and subcontractors.
• Conduct daily tailgate meetings to review safety expectations, daily goals, and jobsite conditions.
• Lead by example with professionalism, urgency, and attention to detail.
• Identify skill gaps and provide coaching, mentorship, and corrective guidance when necessary.
• Foster a strong team environment built on communication, respect, and accountability.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between field crews and Operations Management.
• Maintain active daily presence on job sites and ensure safety compliance.
