Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is seeking an Equipment Foreman to lead telecom construction crews in Marion, IA. You will oversee crews, ensure projects stay on schedule, and manage equipment and materials for safe, productive operations.

Requirements include at least three years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and authorization to work in the U.S. Prior foreman experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience required.
• Foreman experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company and a valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Safely operate and control assigned equipment.
• Assist the Supervisor with day-to-day activities and provide updates as needed.
• Oversee and help with training of crew members.
• Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
• Maintain production notes & DOT paperwork.
• Operate heavy equipment and machinery, complete maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• All other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do

• Lead crews to meet project timelines

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
• At least three years of related experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, work at heights & in confined spaces, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
