Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is seeking an Equipment Foreman to oversee telecom construction crews, ensuring projects stay on schedule and all safety protocols are followed. You will manage equipment and materials to maintain a safe, productive work environment.

You will lead training, support the supervisor with day-to-day activities, and help ensure DOT paperwork is complete. A valid driver’s license and at least three years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
• Three years of related experience preferred.
• Previous foreman experience preferred.
• Able to operate and supervise heavy equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Safely operate and control assigned equipment.
• Assist the Supervisor with day-to-day activities and provide updates.
• Oversee training of crew members.
• Ensure OSHA and DOT regulations are followed and maintain DOT paperwork.
• Maintain production notes and logs.

What Youll Do

• Lead crews to meet project timelines
• Safely operate and control assigned equipment
• Assist the Supervisor with day-to-day activities and provide updates as needed
• Oversee and help with training of crew members
• Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations
• Maintain production notes & DOT paperwork
• Operate heavy equipment and machinery, complete maintenance
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• All other duties as assigned

What Youll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid drivers license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
• At least three years of related experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, work at heights & in confined spaces, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
