Job summary

ESPO Corporation seeks a Telecom Construction Coordinator in Alexandria, VA to support the Alexandria and Arlington area. This contract role requires 50% in office and 50% in the field, focusing on coordinating with LBPs, municipalities, VDOTs, and the Permit Department to drive project milestones.

You will manage job creation in JT/Polaris, oversee lifecycle milestones, liaise with cross-functional teams, handle funding requests and invoicing, and ensure quality control throughout the project.

Qualifications

• Cable experience preferred; fiber/coax experience a plus.
• Highly motivated and organized.
• Proficient with Excel; able to track invoicing and QC jobs.
• Familiar with JT/Polaris for job creation and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Manage & Track Milestones: Create jobs in JT/Polaris, issue jobs to design, manage lifecycle, handle exceptions to SLAs, reconcile jobs (office).
• Liaise with Stakeholders: be point of contact for internal Comcast cross-functional groups and provide reporting.
• Identify Resources: create/approve funding, material management, contracts research, manage funding/purchase orders, responsible for job estimates.
• Manage and Analyze Quality control Flow: oversee QC workflow, validate field QC, pull reports and provide feedback, coordinate with specialists and permit coordinators to close milestones.
• Conduct admin and Milestone Quality Control: follow admin QC checklist, validate permit closure, set final invoice milestone, ensure milestones updated, close jobs.
