Job summary

Verità Telecommunications Corporation is seeking a Coax Splicer to install, splice, activate, and maintain coaxial networks supporting broadband, video, and voice services. You will work in both aerial and underground environments, reading prints, balancing signals, and repairing interruptions.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2+ years of field experience, with willingness to travel and lift heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of coax splicing or telecom field experience preferred.
• Experience with aerial and underground coax networks.
• Ability to read system prints, maps, and docs.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred in some markets.
• Willing to travel and work flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Perform coaxial cable splicing, activation, and repairs on aerial and underground networks.
• Install and maintain hardline coax, connectors, splitters, taps, and amplifiers.
• Read and interpret network prints, system maps, and construction diagrams.
• Conduct signal testing and balancing to ensure proper network performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve signal loss, ingress, and service interruptions.
• Prepare and secure splice closures and enclosures to standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance and network upgrades as required.
• Document completed work, including as-builts, photos, and system updates.
• Follow safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and company policies in the field.
• Collaborate with construction managers and techs to ensure project completion.
