Job summary

THE PANTHER GROUP in West Chester, PA is hiring CAD Technicians to support telecommunications design. Candidates should have working knowledge of AutoCAD or CAD applications and be able to produce drawings that meet client standards.

You will collaborate with field engineers to prepare complete drawings and documentation, convert legacy drawings to IDDS or MicroStation, and incorporate engineering markups. A high school or trade school diploma and solid computer skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with IDDS/ICGS; MicroStation preferred but not required.
• AutoCAD or CAD application experience required.
• Proficient with Windows Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to read engineering sketches.
• Experience in the telecommunications industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop drawings per client standards using IDDS/MicroStation.
• Collaborate with field engineers; prepare engineering drawings and documentation.
• Convert legacy drawings to IDDS/MicroStation format.
• Incorporate engineering markups into drawings.
