Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of drafting/design training or practical experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Strong PC skills including Word and Excel.
• Understanding of drafting standards and engineering drawing principles.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise engineering drawings using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Produce diagrams, schematics, layouts, and multi-view drawings to scale.
• Develop foundation plans, grounding plans, structural/steel drawings, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams.
• Prepare one-line diagrams, AC/DC drawings, and equipment arrangement drawings.
• Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and technical data.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations to support design accuracy.
• Maintain drawing files and engineering documentation.
• Support engineers and senior designers with project deliverables.
• Revise drawings based on internal and client feedback.
