Job summary

THE PANTHER GROUP in West Chester, PA is hiring CAD Technicians to support telecommunications design. Candidates should have working knowledge of AutoCAD or CAD applications and be able to produce drawings that meet client standards.

You will collaborate with field engineers to prepare complete drawings and documentation, convert legacy drawings to IDDS or MicroStation, and incorporate engineering markups. A high school or trade school diploma and solid computer skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with IDDS/ICGS; MicroStation preferred but not required.
• AutoCAD or CAD application experience required.
• Proficient with Windows Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to read engineering sketches.
• Experience in the telecommunications industry is preferred.

We are hiring CAD Technicians for our client in the West Chester, PA area. These positions are critical to business operations.Candidates must have a working knowledge of AutoCAD or CAD application, strong analytical skills, and the desire to learn design methods in telecommunications. In this role you will:Develop drawings per client standards using IDDS / MicroStation design software.Work closely with field engineers; prepare complete engineering drawings and associated documentation in compliance with company and client policies.Incorporate engineering mark-up into drawings and work with engineers on design requirements.Convert drawings from legacy applications into IDDS / MicroStation format.Qualifications:Experience with IDDS / ICGS, MicroStation preferred but not required.Minimum experience in AutoCAD or CAD application required.Working knowledge of Windows Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.Good computer, communication, and visualization skills are needed to work from engineering sketches and documents.Must be detail-oriented.Experience in the telecommunications industry is preferred.High School / Trade school graduate or equivalent.Work Schedule: Typically 7:30am - 3:30pm Monday - FridayPay Rates: $20.00/hour W2#INDENG
