Job summary

The role involves termination, testing, labeling, and documenting all work to ensure compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities include routing cables through telecom spaces, building out telecom rooms, and ensuring proper fire-stopping and safety practices.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of cabling and telecom systems installation experience.
• Strong knowledge of ANSI/TIA/EIA cabling standards and NEC.
• Able to lift up to 100 pounds and work at heights with fall protection.

Responsibilities

• Install cable pathways and routes in telecom spaces.
• Terminate, test, label, and document cables.
• Dress and route cables into telecom closets and equipment rooms.
• Build out telecom and equipment rooms.
• Fire-stop penetrations and document test results.
• Adhere to Environmental, Health & Safety policies.
• Report scope changes to assigned contacts.
