Job summary

Utilities One is seeking a Telecom Bid & Pricing Manager in the United States to lead end-to-end bid and pricing activities for telecom infrastructure projects. You will craft cost estimates, pricing models, and commercial proposals while coordinating input from engineering, sales, operations, procurement, finance, and legal teams.

The role requires strong commercial acumen, risk awareness, and the ability to deliver compliant, high-quality RFP responses on tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Telecommunications, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of bid management, proposal management, pricing, or commercial operations in the telecommunications or infrastructure.
• Understanding of telecom infrastructure, network deployment, and construction environments (OSP, wireless, fiber, civil, engineering).
• Experience preparing RFP/RFQ responses and supporting telecom carriers, network operators, or enterprise clients.
• Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously while coordinating cross-functional teams and meeting tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical, pricing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full RFP/bid lifecycle for telecom opportunities, from opportunity qualification through pricing, proposal development, and final submission.
• Develop cost estimates, pricing models, and commercial proposals based on project scope, technical requirements, and business objectives.
• Analyze technical requirements, project documentation, and customer specifications to define scope, identify risks, and ensure solution alignment.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, sales, operations, procurement, finance, and legal) to develop accurate, competitive, and timely bid responses.
• Ensure proposals comply with customer requirements, contractual obligations, and internal governance and approval processes.
• Track submitted bids, support customer clarifications and negotiations, and ensure a smooth handover to project delivery and contract management for awarded projects.
