Job summary

Lambert's Cable Splicing Co. seeks a Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an Aerial Telecom Crew installing and maintaining fiber and telecom cables.

You will provide tools and materials, move equipment, assist with tagging, and help with traffic control while adhering to DOT guidelines. The role requires physical stamina and willingness to work outdoors in all weather, including overtime and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Certified pole climber or willingness to become certified.
• Previous labor experience in telecommunications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Ensure that door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day.
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools.
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
