Lambert's Cable Splicing Company, LLC is seeking a Field Laborer (Entry-Level) to support an Aerial Telecom Crew installing and maintaining fiber cables. The role involves handling tools and materials, moving trucks or equipment, and performing safety-critical tasks with attention to traffic control and weather conditions.

The position emphasizes on-site work, physical readiness, and adherence to DOT guidelines, with opportunities for certification and career growth within a safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license (non-provisional) with acceptable driving record.
• Certified pole climber or willingness to become certified.
• Labor experience in telecommunications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
• Move or reposition bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Ensure door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day.
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools.
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
