TelCom Construction, LLC in Ottawa, KS is seeking a Telecom Aerial Foreman to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You will serve as the on-site expert, guiding and supporting less experienced team members.

The role requires readiness to travel for storm response on short notice and the ability to work at heights with appropriate safety measures. A DOT medical card and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of related work experience
• Certified pole climber or willingness to become certified
• CDL Class

Responsabilités

• Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures according to relevant codes, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Ensure work areas are safe and that traffic flows smoothly while on the job
• Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders
• Safely use hand tools and power tools like wrenches, drills, and saws
• Provide guidance and support to others as needed
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks to document productivity and safety compliance
• Other duties as assigned
